Chapter 104 Baby Hands 16 CFR 1228 provides for inclusion in the ASTM F2907 standard and increases the adhesion requirements of the label to ensure the durability of the warning label.
On January 16, 2017, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) voted on PSL 1/2/17 and eventually passed the result of the vote of 3-2 through the provisions of Chapter 104 on infant pockets and incorporated it into 16 CFR 1112 And 1228, at the same time revised F2907-15, the provisions of the standard consumer safety regulations on baby straps.
ASTM F2907-15 defines "pockets" as "textile or sewn articles that are used to keep the child in the trunk of the caregiver to keep it upright or bent." The product is usually suitable for full moon to children weighing about 35 pounds.
This change requires that the warning label be sewn around the fabric surface to ensure that the user is able to see the warning label at any time when using the product. Tag text must be in size.
CPSC staff believe that consumers will usually sew at the end of a large size of the fiber label to tear up, and this modification can guarantee the durability of the safety label.
This provision shall enter into force twelve months after the date of publication of the Federal Register.
